On our second- to-last day on the ship, we passed through “Glacier Alley” seeing many impressive glaciers as the crew served food and drinks coordinated with the names of the glaciers.
We first passed the Romance Glacier.
Next up was the German Glacier, which was accompanied by sausage and onions and German beer.
When we passed the French Glacier, the crew served champagne and a cheese and cracker plate.
For the Italian Glacier, we were served cheese pizza.
Finally, for the Holland Glacier the crew served Dutch beer and fried dough balls with sprinkled powdered sugar.
On our last night on the ship, we chatted and had our picture taken with the captain.
The next morning after breakfast, we disembarked in Ushuaia, Argentina.
We headed to Tierra del Fuego National Park.
We visited Zaratiegui Cove.
We went to Lapataia Bay.
We visited Lago Roca.
We enjoyed a nice drive through park followed by a scenic lunch on shores of lake.
We walked through downtown Ushuaia.
The Beagle Canal was beautiful especially at sunset.
The next morning we caught a flight to Buenos Aires.
We enjoyed two fabulous days of amazing beef, wine, art, architecture and history.
We had a great vacation but sure were glad to get home to the boys!
