Seeing, Feeding and Eating Animals

On our first full day in Buenos Aires, we went to the zoo. Even though we had visited the zoo the last time we were in Buenos Aires, the boys were excited to return.

We traveled through the city on our way, driving along Avenida 9 de Julio – the widest street in the world – passing some famous sights including the obelisk, the Teatro Colón opera house and a building with an outline of Eva Perón (the famous Evita) on the side of it.

When we got to the zoo, the boys were happy to see so many animals.

Even more fun than seeing the animals was feeding them. Patrick and Danny loved having the animals eat right out of their hands.

Later that night, we went out for an amazing steak dinner with friends.

The beef and the wine were fantastic.

It was fun hanging with our friends!

Danny and Patrick got a lot of mileage out of the balloons from the restaurant. Two days later, they were still playing with them!
