San Bernardino and Caacupé

While John and Louann were here in Paraguay, we visited the nearby towns of San Bernardino and Caacupé.

In San Bernardino we visited Hotel del Lago and saw the small monkeys that live there. The boys loved watching the monkeys climb and jump.

As per usual, Patrick spent a little time pretending to be a bear.

Patrick loved seeing the place where he did a zipline course (or as he called it, “flying thorough the trees”). Seeing what their then-two year old grandson had done I think scared Grandma and Grandpa a little. They all had fun in front of the German restaurant where we had lunch.

In Caacupé, we visited the basilica. Danny was very interested in the statue of the praying indigenous man. Patrick kept asking where the guy’s clothes went.

Patrick had fun being silly.
